We’re committed to supporting Nursing Support Workers (NSWs) and highlighting the contribution that those working in these important roles make to health and social care.
We offer a range of learning opportunities, including education events in workplaces across Scotland and webinars.

First Steps - our online learning tool for NSWs
First Steps is an online learning resource which supports the relevant codes that NSWs work to.
It’s been created for NSWs and covers a wide range of topics including; the role of NSW and boundaries, person-centred care, safeguarding, communication, record keeping, equality and diversity, infection prevention and continuing professional development.
