Working with our members, we influence the Scottish government and employers on the issues that matter most to nursing. Together, we improve health policies and promote excellence in nursing practice.
Our influencing work involves:
- responding to consultations from the Scottish government
- providing evidence to the Scottish Parliament for proposed changes to policy or to the law
- briefing political and sector stakeholders on the issues impacting nursing staff and the actions needed to improve these
