Poor quality placements are contributing to a student crisis. Imagine what it would feel like if you helped fix that.
Too often, students are expected to work like fully qualified nurses — without the support, recognition, or clear job prospects they deserve. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
A movement is growing to make sure nursing students are treated fairly and supported to become the best nurses they can be.
You’re needed to be part of it.
RCN Students’ Committee hosted a Student Organising Workshop in August to start a campaign tackling poor placements.
Our next virtual drop-in session for students organising to tackle placement issues is the 5th of October at 2pm. Sign up via the booking link and join us to reflect on your organising plans and any activity since the workshop.
Join us to:
- Become part of a team which will win changes for students now and for years to come
- Learn how to organise and campaign effectively
- Win safe, supportive, and positive placements — and shape the future of nursing
