Urgent and Emergency Care Forum

Representing RCN members working in urgent and emergency care

We represent RCN members who work in urgent and emergency care. Our priorities are to promote appropriate staffing and expertise and facilitate discussion around best practice and innovations in care.

The Violence Reduction Academy, hosted by the NHS London Violence Reduction Programme, would like to invite you to a webinar on 11 December 2025 exploring:

  • what the public health approach to violence reduction is
  • why we need to identify report victims of assault in Emergency Departments and Urgent Treatment Centres
  • what data needs to be recorded for victims of assault, and how to record it well
  • how this data is used to support the reduction of violence

The event will be led by:

  • Vicki Golden - Data & Intelligence Clinical Lead, NHS London Violence Reduction Programme
  • Michael Cheetham - Data & Intelligence Manager, NHS London Violence Reduction Programme
  • Sandeep Broca - Intelligence Analysis Manager, Community Safety Team, Haringey

We would recommend this webinar for colleagues working in clinical, strategic, public health and business intelligence roles across health, local authority and other relevant organisations.

Please and a calendar invitation containing the joining link will be shared in advance of the event.

This webinar may contribute to revalidation CPD hours for nurses. Please see  for more information.
