Learn how to develop the important skill of evaluating healthcare research information.
This introductory session on critical appraisal will cover the basics of evaluating healthcare research. We will explore some of the different types of research that you may find. We will consider bias in research and how to evaluate research papers. There will be some practical and reflective activities that will support you in developing your skills including using the CASP checklist for qualitative research.
This session for RCN members is suitable for students, nursing associates, healthcare assistants and registered nurses.
